Some cassette adaptors don't work with some players because of the way
the heads work in reverse on auto reverse.

I had one to use on a basic clarion Headunit with a goodmans CDwalkman.
you could hear the hiss/clicking of the cassette adaptor, something you
wouldn't hear from a half decent line-in. But it isn't bad. I've heard
of good results with FM modulators too, but it depends on the modulator,
I only managed to get it to a little hissy, other have gotten it ****
hot with the right modulator.
