I have the above situation so how would this effect my setup? Must I
install another battery to provide the max amp drawn? How often do amps
draw their max amp power?

Thanks

Jim

Given that you'll almost never draw the maximum current anyway,
I assume you're talking about the main car battery here.

If this is the case it will supply well over 100 Amps. It must do
or it would never start the car. I suspect that the 55 Amps you refer to
is the amp-hour rating. In which case it's probably rated at something

like
27 Amps continuous for two hours.

Such a battery could be expected to deliver two to three hundred amps for

a
minute or so. More than enough for any load you're likely to demand of it.

I'm just wondering how small this car must be to only have a 55amp battery?
Mine has a 680amp battery as standard.
