Default home burned CD OK in autochanger?

Have just bought a car with an in-dash 6CD autochanger and need advice

on
CDs.

In the past, I have burned music compilations to CDs with my computer at
home but I heard a rumour that these homemade CDs can cause jams or

failures
in autochangers. Anyone got any knowledge or advice?

Some CD changers will refuse to play them. I don't think this is an issue
with any new changers though. The old Kenwood ones didn't, for some

reason.
Still, I've never heard of a changer 'jamming' because of a CD-R - it will
either play or it won't, but it should still come back out alright!

Chris.

All comment gratefully received

Philip

Just make sure you don't stick labels to them, they can come of in the
higher than normal temps in a car and jam the units. Just use marker pens.
