It does control all the digital functions - volume, treble, bass, balance,
loudness, speakers on/off...
I really hate that. My car radio does things that way. Give me one
function per knob any day.
Agreed. Normally the only *knob* I want to see on an amp is a volume
control, I don't even like multiple inputs and input switching inside
amplifiers...
What on earth is this thing? And who is charging as much as 60 squids
for it?
Argos, who else?
Silly me!
Quicker than eBay and a warranty, as well as 15 days no-quibble return if
you don't like it...
Have you seen what secondhand Cyrus IIs are going for on Ebay?
No comment...!! ;-)
Go - treat yourself! You might even like it (no need to tell us, it
can be your guilty secret) ;-)
If I had a Cyrus amp and liked it (I've heard a number of 'em up to the 8
and didn't much like any of 'em) I'd say so - it's not valvies who get all
sweaty and bent out of shape about different types of amps. I couldn't give
a Fiona Fullerton either way - I use valves because I *prefer* the sound for
proper listening and SS when I want the *convenience* (AV or computer for
example)...
