Default Removing Denon pre-amp

Hello, uk.rec.audio

I have a Denon PMA-250SE with the phono pre-amp fitted.

I have no need to connect a record player to the amplifier.

I also have a need for an additional line-level input.

I understand the phono pre-amp is an add-on to the amplifier.

Is it possible to remove the pre-amp easily, and without high risk of
causing damage to the rest of the amplifier? If so, could someone
provide (or point out) some simple instructions?

Much appreciate your time.

Thanks

People's needs change, and you are no different, I suspect. Leave it
where it is; if you don't you will find you need it within the month.
Why do you feel you need to get rid of it? It really isn't doing any
harm there.

You can make yourself as many extra line level inputs as you need with
an external switch box. Easy to make, or cheap to buy.
