Default Is this a dodgy earth?

I posted this in the fiat forum a while back but I thought the
specialists on here might be able to help.

Car:Fiat coupe 20VT

"I have the standard clarion unit in the car with the CD changer, but
if I turn round corners or accelerate quickly, the sound goes off on
all speakers for a couple of seconds with a crackling sound thats on
radio to, so it's a dodgy connection somewhere, if the problem is with
the loom in the stereo, that's not too bad because I want to change it
for an MP3 head unit anyway, but if the problem is further back past
the iso connector, how much of a pain in the arse is it to re-wire
through to all the speakers?"

*Update* I have changed my head unit for an Mp3 head unit, and the
fault still occurs I know now that the fault does not switch the power
of the head unit off, just the sound coming from all four speakers, and
it is worse when the weather is hot.

For all 4 speakers to stop, leads me to think it could be something
else indirectly affecting it , maybe a dodgy earth, it could be a five
minute fix, but it might not be . Does the stereo wire share power with
anything else with the same wire? I'm wondering if the electric windows
have any relation to it, as I sometimes get the odd 'pop' through the
speakers when I raise or lower either of them.

Cheers
