Anyone know what's available in DAB receivers with USB or PCMCIA?
Let's not discuss bitrates here but it would be useful to get the
data onto disc without going through an analogue stage, and to be
able to change channel and record at various times, i.e. unattended
recording of both The Archers and The Navy Lark.

I believe that the Psion Wavefinder was such a beast but no longer sold.

For about £40 you can get a USB Freeview TV tuner. It will include a
programmable recorder Freeview includes lots of radio channels. The
disadvantage is that you need access to a proper TV aerial. Any good
for you?

Yes.
Not what I was thinking of but an alternative to the unreliable Sky Plus box,
which doesn't allow you to make a permanent copy without going via analogue.
