You'll need a pair of DIN radio removal keys.

Then you mention the PC2-08-4 item which looks like a pair of
connectors. Assuming that I buy a radio with ISO connectivity, will
that plug in to these connectors ?


Yes - all decent units now come with an ISO that will plug straight
into the adaptor.
