Plenty quiet, as you say. But were you walking around while that was
playing? I could hear some very low thumping noises going on that
didn't sound record-related.

Compairing that to similar here, I would say you are about 3-6db
quieter. It does show I have some hum to fix though.

I have a nasty feeling that hum is motor induced, with the input to the
phono stage disconnected, it a lot less, but still more than I want.

I will try moving the PC next to the phono stage some time, as there is
still hum with the phono powered down.
