What I found interesting was that the UK figures for 12" seemed to be
falling as those for 7" were rising, and that although magazines, etc,
were
reporting the figures for 7" sales rising, no-one had mentioned the fall
for 12" sales. It gave me the impression that those who had been buying
12"
singles were changing to 7" for some reason,. But I have no other info
which relates to this, so I have no idea if the same people are involved,
or not.



Without *reliable* statistics and other information (see my other post about
publically quoted figures) we can only *guess*, but I sincerely doubt the
12" and 7" markets are interchangeable...??
