Default Squash balls and bricks

I also read recently in a Hi-Fi glossy about placing cut-in-half squash
balls underneath your components' feet and a brick on top of each speaker
to improve the sound.

Now that would be an interesting experiment but I don't expect MAGIC to
happen!

I find a fried egg on the top of a speaker improves the treble, I have some
for sale for £100 a piece.
People will believe anything. I remember the ones in the HiFi magazines
about putting a CD in the freezer to improve sound and also colouring the
edge in with a green pen!
