Quite possibly, but should you need it, I have proof that the 'static

Note that in the immediate area of the CDs there is a general lack of
development with low or zero growth and widespread evidence of poor plant
health, compared with the area *furthest away* from the CDs....
Now, if that is not due to attention of birds who are obviously not fazed by
the presence of the disks, I can only put it down to the fact that even
*plants* don't like CDs.....??
(And you can't argue with Nature......???)
