Rule of thumb - if you hear this much of the performer breathing, etc.
you've miced way too close.

There's something odd about this recording. The strong peaks at 62.5 and
125 Hz seem to be misplaced for a recording that was supposedly made in 50
Hz land.


No idea. Maybe it was the little Yankee (Chinese) 'tube' preamps?
