And the old 'you only get what you pay for' chestnut starts to sound a bit
sour grapesy, don't it? (If I wuz an antipodean amp builder trying to
compete with this 'valve tsunami' on *my* doorstep, I'd be thinking very
hard about grabbing a job in the nearest supermarket while there was still
chance of one!! ;-)

At these prices, these little puppies represent a very good start point for
tweaking at the very least or, dare I say it, are damn near 'disposable
items!!
