I have a bunch of screw-on banana plugs which will take 6mm diameter
cable, if I want to use jumpstart cable for my ESLs.
Wonder what the gauge of the internal wiring is. ;-)

Indeed. But for the benefit of others, 6mm˛ TW&E mains cable would be
cooker cable - you'll not easily find mains flex of that size.
