Default How standard are CD changer controls?

I'm considering going back to the CarPC project again now that CarTFT in
germany are stocking a double din Screen with AM/FM and a USB DVD rom
drive.

On the rear it has what appears to be a changer/remote control/line out
socket above the power/speaker sockets.
See picture below.

I'm waiting confirmation that the socket is actually present and
connected on the production models, but if it is, what changer could it
control if it is connected? never fitted a changer before and the car
isn't prewired even for re-speakers.

Plan is, fit screen and CD changer until the CarPC is built and then
have it returned to normal including the factory headunit when I'm done
but leave the changer in. The Skoda factory grundig appears to have the
same socket as the TFT screen/headunit.
