Default Rear speaker wiring in an Octavia.

TBH, I can't decide wether to fit the rears and upgrade the headunit,
fit the rear and install the carPC I've been planning started,

car. I find the old 8v 2 litre engine noise pretty intrusive, even
with the very poor Grundig R/C replaced by a cheap Goodmans MP3CD
headunit. Worst on the motorway where cruise speed seems to provide
the most rattles, buzzing and engine noise generally.

Fit the rears and install the car PC. :-)

As for engine noise...

I was lucky enough to have an A3 3.2 Quattro as a courtesy car back in
January. It had the 6-disc Symphony system and Bose speaker system.

Except I found myself turning the music down every time I accelerated
off a roundabout. And holding the lower gears right into the redline.

In fact I even found a tunnel and drove through it a few times with the
windows down.

Yay V6 soundtrack!
