But when someone makes stupid marketing claims, and someone scientifically
debunks said claims to save a few unsuspecting souls from wasting their
money, the gloves certainly come off, don't they?

As for your opinion of Mr. Krueger, I have not seen any evidence of that, at
least on the rec.audio.tech NG. I do not always agree with him, but I have
not developed the vitriol that you seem to have.
