I am a bit concerned before buying as unfortunately we do not have any
outlets for Kimbers in Australia and the thing costs around AUD $400.

**That's because none of those things meet Australian electricity compliance
laws. Use it and if you have a problem, you can kiss your insurance policy
goodbye. Fancy power cords are a con. In some cases a very dangerous con.
