I'd expect it to be a waste of time in something like an S80. I'm
assuming
you're trying to keep out external noise rather than stop the noise
getting out...
I agree that the Volvo is already a quiet car but when I have talked on the
US Volvo forum, they reckon there is a difference which makes it worth
doing. I need to track down the raw materials and method in the UK.
