It seems that agreement has been made between EMI Music
and Alan Levy with regard to his departure from the company.

It is reported that Levy departs with a golden handshake of
UKP 7,000,000 - small potatoes compared with the deal
which Levy set up by which Mariah Carey has been paid
$28m (£19m) by EMI Records to end her recording
contract with the company in 2002.

At least on a temporary basis all EMI heads now report
directly to the Chairman and his chief financial officer.

EMI Classics is facing re-structuring, and plans for this are
to be announced in the next few days.

I wouldn't get too excited - 'restructuring' usually means
*downsizing/deleting*!! :-)
