Why do you say this? There is no reason why the speaker
output should be particularly bad. At moderate level it
should have distortion below about 0.1%, which is
inaudible for 99% of music. And of course the
Distortion isn't the problem. The problem is noise.
idea that inserting a speaker and mic into the equation
might actually improve thing is quite laughable.
It would be an improvement over directly connecting a
speaker output to a line level input.
