I correspond regularly with an ex BBC chap who has had
a number of papers published in the JAES and has written
articles in both Studio Sound and the hi-fi press. He
told me that he would prefer cranial surgery to
discussion with Pinkie's Boys (whom I took to be
Stewart, yourself and Arny)

Iain, I'll see your AES member with a couple of JAES
papers, and raise you with three AES felllows, all of
whom have had a number of papers published in the JAES.

A couple of weeks ago, I gave a paper about microphones,
recording and SR at my hi-fi club's most recent meeting.
Two AES Fellows (Clark and Lip****z) were present. To
bad my other good friend who is an AES Fellow, Earl
Geddes decided not to show. A good time was had by all.
BTW, Geddes, Clark and Lip****z have all had "a number
of papers" published in the JAES.

I hope you did not play them any of your recordings Arny,
I can imagine the scramble for the Exit :-))

"To bad" ??? Come on, Arnold, get a grip. This is an
English language NG.

Yup, you can judge people by their reactions to trivial typos.

Ordinarily, I'd agree but while Iain's busy *ballooning pricks* I can
see his point.

And isn't he doing a great job? Seeing you and the other remaining
wrecker of this group (Plowie) squirming and squealing, like you both
are, is most amusing - especially when he seems to be able to do it so
easily!

:-)
