Why buy an extension lead and cut it up for
cable when you can buy it in the same DIY stores as unterminated cable.

pick the outdoor cable which is earthed rather than cheaper two core ?

The Quad room at the show was large and imho was not one of the best
sounding. I thought the sound was noticeably flat and uninvolving
something
the expensive cable people claim to help.



Presuming the source to be 'digital', it sounds like the Quad gear was doing
a pretty good job of 'uncoloured reproduction' then......
