It's getting silly now.

My brother has finally been tempted into buying a DVDP as his sister-in-law,
who works in Sainsbury's, can get one for £31.50 would you believe!!! (Staff
discount from £35 retail!)

How can you go wrong at this price? - They play CD/R/RW/MP3s naturally. You
couldn't buy a secondhand CDP for that and if it crapped out after only a
year or so, it wouldn't be a disaster, would it?

(One snag is actually getting hold of one, apparently - the Sainsbury's
staff are snapping them all up as they come in for Christmas presents!)
