Interesting.
I always found Du Pre too overwrought for me and I much preferred the
more restrained approach of Paul Tortelier and Beecham , for example.
There's quite a choice available - it must be the most popular cello work.
Nice to read something about the music rather than the technology!
If you're not interested in the technology there are hundreds of groups
devoted to music. The 'audio' in the title gives clue to what this one is
about.
