Interesting. That's exactly the opposite of my experience. I have a 4.0
system at the moment and have tried numerous centre speakers from Kef and
B/W and in every case I disliked the result and returned the speaker. I
find my existing front speakers have such good dispersion that I don't
have a hole in the middle and a centre speaker contributes very little.
AOL. I tried just about every one on the market but couldn't find one that
integrated seamlessly with my main speakers. Although an LS 3/5a did - but
had too strong an external magnetic field for the TV. I sort of concluded
that they were all somewhat less than flat like much 'home cinema' stuff.
