Phil - The CD player's about 10 years old - I think it's the mk II model?


** I still use a Sony CDP101 sometimes that is now nearly 25 years old.


The furnishings are somewhere between your extremes -
curtains, one sofa, carpeted at the moment, but that may go in due course.


** If the carpet goes - so does all hope of respectable hi-fi.
