Hi guys,

I purchased a set of new Sennheiser HD-555 from a local hifi shop.
They sound really good but at high volumes, low frequencies seem to
crack them. At lower volumes all sounds good.

My older $20 TDK's (though though not as detailed) seem to handle
lower frequencies pretty well or atleast gracefully attenuate them.

Is this something common to the HD-555's? Is it a technical fault with
the headphones? Or do I leave them to 'burn in' for a little longer
before reving them at high volumes?
