Yes. Did so a few years ago. However old academics tend to be re-hired
as 'casual labour' on an hourly basis to go on teaching courses, etc.
They want me to go on teaching my old courses on Basic Electronics,
Radio and Coherent Tech, and Information and Measurement. So I am happy
to oblige as it only takes 2-3 hours per week.
Keeps U out from under SWMBO's feet and all that accumulated know how
over the years .. seems a pity to waste
...
The recent good news was that she agreed to let me shift a bookcase and its
contents from the anechoic chamber control room to home. So I now have all
my old HFN, Mullard journals, etc, at home. Makes searching for bits of
info much easier. :-)
