I read this entirely differently from you.

What I hear good old Arns asking is much more philosophical, as in,
"Do we really exist?" "Is life but an illusion?" And so on. Good old
Arns seemingly has realized what a ****-poor christian he made. Now he
is turning to the never-ending questioning of philosophers. The poor
dear has to fill the vacuum left by his sudden departure from
religion.

Interesting, but rather unlikely. Turdy has told us that aBxism *is* his
mission from "God". That leaves him no room at all for doubt.

But it may be a small step in his eventual rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation for the Krooborg would be modernizing his Feces
