If anyone has any insights, gratefully received.
I recognise the SME arm - had that one on a Thorens TD125 MkII.
I've been looking for a TD125 for a while, but they go for upwards of
£250 when they've got the SME arm.
What's the twin set of speed switches for?
Bottom ones are speed change, the top are pitch control. The speed
change buttons are rather 'lego', and apparently prone to failure.
None of your touch sensitive nonsense here - real manly good old
fashioned types.
Interesting old deck with the motor on the suspended subchassis? I'm
certain you bought that rig just for the arm but it's always a delight
when you get a nice sound out of summat which is probably ultimately
'disposable', ain't it? (And therefore *unbreakable* most like!)
