Has anybody any info on sound bars particularly the Denon models? Looks
like a good and smart idea but will it work properly. Don't wish all
the wires and speakers of normal 5.1 surround, medium living room 5 x 4
metres.
Would this be ok?

For the life of me I can't imagine why you'd want surround sound in a room
that small. I find even a wide stereo for TV etc distracting.

No, no, no. The room size is irrelevant.

Not in my opinion. A smallish room has its own very prominent acoustic
environment that your hearing naturally interprets.

The "sound bars" work on
psychoacoustics. An inexactive science at present, but keep an open mind -
and ears. The Sunday Times reviewed several of the offerings in the market
a couple of weeks ago - can't remember what they recommended, but it came
down to some work, some don't.

Small rooms? Working on that right now.

I just don't see the point.
