But, you had me checking! Tone the Clone* delivered that bike at 6:20
last night; by 10:00 (pm) I had refixed the tank which was flapping
about in the breeze, shifted the gear lever up one spline (it was too
low), centered the handlebars (4mm too far left) and spent some time
stuffing a rubber spacer back into place on one of the front forklegs!

I reckon the 'bike's previous owner had had a shunt in the front (his
*highly personalised* number plate is still on the bike) - ie musta run
into something and gone rapidly off the idea - the 'bike's only got 2.5K
miles on it and is dripping with expensive *extras*! (Can't say too
much - the bike I swapped for it was the one I smacked down on the A1!!

*Oh, is he not - I recently discovered he's one of two
*indistinguishable* identical twins!! (My 'clone' reference is because
he outed his Cyrus/Impulse kit and changed over to 300B SET monos and
Lowthers within summat like *3 weeks* from first hearing my stuff but,
as they say - there's many a true word...!! :-)
