28ppm or 100 ppm will most certainly be inaudible.

Maybe the 'pitch control' is to use as an adjustment for out-of-tune
singing or perfoming... :-)



Nah... It's to add another zero to the price tag!

OTOH, perhaps those players with such a control use a R/C oscillator so
they are incorrect by design... ;-)
