217 messages. That is in itself an indictment of the lack of
imagination in the majority of participants, who agree with the
depressing sentiment but do nothing about starting a more positive
thread. Furthermore, it is indicative of a deep malaise lurking like
an infection that the offensive thread was started before Christmas
and no one said, "Hey, that's a bit intolerant in the season of
goodwill."
