You fossils should perk up if The Decemberists come to town. They're
American but they're skilled in musical performance. (Joke.) I thought
the lead singer might be Aussie or Irish, but it turns out he's from
Montana. Maybe the weird pronunciation is an affectation. He sings
like the old-time rocker Del Shannon.

AFAIK, the band does not pay homage to Russian revolutionaries. Now
enough about Peter Gabriel and let's get into some new music!
