Has anybody had good experience with either ceiling, or very
small wall-mount speakers? A sub-woofer is out of the question,
by the way.
I've got ceiling speakers in the bathroom. Came from CPC - but not sure if
they're still available. They're single 8" units and came with 100v line
transformers which I removed. Driven with their own amp (home made) which
I eq'd to get the best from them. No shortage of 'bass' from an infinite
baffle, though. Sound quite reasonable - far better than the average
portable.
If I were doing it again I'd probably go for these:-
