Some decades ago I used to fly to/from Hawai'i once or twice a year. Had
similar experiences when flying over places like Northern Canada. Just a
different colour scheme. :-)



Or the Empty Quarter of Saudi Arabia. That is like flying over a frozen
ocean - the sand dunes look like waves and it just goes on and on and on...
