I've got a complete capcitor replacement kit for a 1960
Wurlitzer jukebox amp, but on the amp there are two
'combined' capacitor units (metal tubes) and the kit i've
got has the separate capacitors. Any idea how these
would be wired? One tube had four caps internally with
four pins on the bottom, & the other has three internal
caps with three pins.
The combined capacitor units usually have a key to the bottom terminal
connections stamped on their sides.
For example, the 40 uF cap has a square near the corresponding bottom
terminal, the 20 uF cap has a triangle, etc.
The negative terminals of all of the capacitors is usually connected to the
metal shell and outer tab terminals on the bottom.
One slick trick involves gutting the metal can and slipping the varioius
individual capacitors inside.
