I am a licensed user of Cool Edit 2000 and have been for many years. When
I purchased it originally the license was about $20. Cool Edit 2000 worked
perfectly under Windows XP and is definitely the best audio editor I have
used - and I have tried most of them!
I agree totally , I've used it for many years, under win98, win 2000 and now
winXP, and it's always worked perfectly, which is more than can be said for
most software I've used!
When I upgraded to Vista I had problems with Cool Edit 2000.
Sounds like yet another reason NOT to use Vista! Microsoft will have to drag
me kicking and screaming before I'll touch it.
