Default Speaker identification

In article ,
says...
...I wonder if anyone here can identify these speakers by looking at
them? I purchased them cheaply from an auction a few years ago. I /have/
opened them up before but I'm afraid that I can't remember much about
them. They had a couple of large capacitor type things inside (they were
bolted in place and the bolts were loose, so I had to hand tighten them
to stop the speaker from cutting out at volume).

Do they live in the garden, or do you allow them inside the house as
well?

I am attempting to bring Dr Who back to our screens but I have to keep
costs low. Also, I have to avoid copywrite so the Doctor is going to be
fighting against late 70's no-name floor standing speakers instead of
Darleks.

I see in pictures 4 & 5 they appear to be protected with barbed wire?
Any significance?

The puny barbed wire of earth won't stop them!
