You can buy a device like this from a company like Niles. *However, you
will find out that you don't have independant level control, so unless all
the speaker pairs are the same the level will change as you go from one to
the next.

You will also find that the Niles devices present a different source impedance
to the speaker depending on how many you have selected. *This will change the
low end response somewhat.

But the Niles boxes have series resistances in them that get switched in and
out of circuit to make sure your amplifier never has too low a load impedance
on it. *It's not very elegant but it works okay at reasonable power levels.

I bought a similar product by Adcom about 12 years ago. Like the
Niles, not the most elegant solution, but it is simple and it works.
