If I had been willing (in the sense of dedicating time, money and
energy), or had knowledge of the law (especially precedent), then I
might have given it a go.

I'm more disappointed that the shop didn't seem to have tried anything on.

I've written to Dynaudio. I'll see what they say and let it drop.
