Well consider a medium power local station service some 20 miles radius
for a 1 to 2 kW ERP service you can say goodbye to around £45,000 per
annum prolly more in the Urban areas..


Makes the running costs of a small local radio station somewhere in the
order of around half a million a year then?

Nothing in today's terms - as a builders merchant (not a builder, as some
seem to think) my biggest single *month's* turnover was 730K....


As is a lot of our infrastructure, indeed our local water co is owned by
the Chinese;(..


Ah yes, when we had an Empire (only yesterday in the Great Scheme) the world
worked for *us* - the boot's on the other foot now...
