It shows he lacks creditability. It also demonstrates why
he detests anyone with qualifications. The more highly
qualified someone is the more Philthy is likely to have a go

It demonstrates why he has such a nasty disposion and why he
has so much time on his hands. Basically it says why he is
a grumpy old man ;-)

I work in a university and I see this most days. It's
heartbreaking, and you think it's a bit of a laugh, or

Oh quite the opposite actually. I think it is tragic waste
of a human life and an institutions rescoures.

I don't think there's a single word of that post I
disagree with. The thing with PhDs is that they train you
to *do* something - research in the main. They are so
focused they're not actually that useful in themselves.
And they're certainly not an even close measure of
intelligence (whatever that is, I don't know). How do you
know about PhDs by the way?

I haven't claimed any knowledge about PhDs. Except to say
that I am close to the universty scene as well ;-)

Ask CD why he started the thread then? He asked about
Philthy's family history and I *assumed* that would also
entail his background. I have stated the facts as I
undersatnd them. I also should mention many people seem to
agree with me ;-)

However, I am insinuating that you're a bigot by asking
you a series of focused questions. I don't think it's
stretching things too much to suggest that if i've reason
to believe that if you're a bigot in your personal life,
then you're a bigot in your private life.

What is your plan to rid Usenet of malicious, abusive

Do you *really* know what Philthy is like or are you just
