There was a company called EEI Australia that made the Elite EEI 500
moving magnetic pickup cartridge (and a moving-coil model)

Does any one know what happened to them?

Elite Electronics ( ie Max Townshend ) of the UK made the EEI cartridges.

There is no mention of an " EEI Australia".
