Except that Phil isn't that sort of weirdo. He's not
spending a fortune on audio kit that is stuck in the
technology of 70 years ago.

Note that Terry Tencer (TT) and Andy Evans (AE) pretty well destroyed
aus.hi-fi trying to ostracize a number of posters that they don't agree with
including Phil A. They blame Phil for the burnt-out status of that group. No
doubt they are prone to repeat the process here.

Get Phil on a good day and he's an excellent source of technical
information. TT and AE lack the resources to be useful technical resources.
PhilA can be a bit on the excitable side, as we all know.
