What? You don't recall that usenet always did have its disruption merchants
and trolls? Nothing has really changed except that web forums have taken
many otherwise sane souls away from the pure usenet experience.

I always did need flame retardent computers to use these groups, but the
fact is people have become wimpy and should take no notice or make fun of
them. its only words after all, and in the main, banter.

But....

The penny has dropped and, suddenly, I can see is no evidence that any
such sense of community exists any longer and that occasional but highly
repetetive *technowanking* is really all that is required by the (get
this) *majority* of people that remain as subscribers here? Yes? No?

If 'yes' then I'm *gone* - so here's your chance, chaps....
