Default Which Blu Ray Player?

play if you stop playing. i.e. You are not able to go away for some
time (say until the next day) and then pick up watching directly from
where you stopped. The idea apparently that the makers of each disc
an force you to sit though all the start up crap every time.

Whereas with DVDs I often watch a section on different days or view
other things in between, with each disc being restarted from where I
paused. If this isn't the norm for Blu Ray then I will continue to
avoid it!

Just asked my son as he has two blue ray players one installed in computer
and the other stand alone

both allow to pick up from where you last was watching no need to watch
start up crap

some dvd players try to make you watch adverts and copy warning adverts
before they will let you watch the film

there is one brand of dvd player that will you to over ride any adverts I am
sure someone will know the name I am off to find it out
